Assets

Use custom images to make your Discord Rich Presence visually unique and instantly recognizable.

Overview

Discord Rich Presence supports two types of images:

Large Image

The main image shown in your presence (128x128 recommended)

Small Image

A smaller image overlaid on the large image (64x64 recommended)

Uploading Assets

Assets must be uploaded through the Discord Developer Portal:

  1. Go to your application in the Discord Developer Portal
  2. Select "Rich Presence" from the left sidebar
  3. Click "Add Image(s)" to upload your images
  4. Note the Asset Key for each image (used in Presenza)

Tip: Discord requires you to upload at least one image before you can use Rich Presence. The first image you upload becomes the default large image.

Large Images

Large images are the main visual element of your presence.

Asset Key

When you upload an image, Discord assigns it an Asset Key. Use this key in Presenza to select which image to display.

Hover Text

Set a hover tooltip text that appears when users mouse over your large image.

Small Images

Small images appear as an overlay in the corner of the large image.

Position

Automatically positioned in the bottom-right corner of the large image.

Size

Recommended: 128x128 pixels or smaller.

Use Cases

Great for showing status (online, idle, DND), platform icons (Windows, PlayStation), or rank badges.
