Presets & Auto Rotation

Presets let you save your favorite presence configurations and switch between them instantly. Auto Rotation takes it further by cycling through presets automatically.

What Are Presets?

A preset is a saved collection of all your presence settings, including the activity type, details, state, timestamps, and assets. Instead of configuring everything from scratch every time, you can save your setups and load them in one click.

  • Working preset for productivity sessions
  • Streaming preset with your live channel info
  • Listening preset for when you're vibing to music

Creating a Preset

To create a preset, configure your presence exactly how you want it saved, then click the

Save Preset
button in the toolbar.

  1. Configure your presence settings (type, details, state, etc.)
  2. Upload and select your assets (large/small images)
  3. Click Save Preset in the toolbar
  4. Give your preset a memorable name
  5. Click Save to confirm

Auto Rotation

Auto Rotation allows Presenza to automatically cycle through your saved presets at intervals you define. This is perfect for streamers or users who want their presence to update based on their activity throughout the day.

Enabling Auto Rotation

  1. Save at least 2 presets
  2. Click the Auto Rotate toggle in the toolbar
  3. Set your desired interval (5s – 60min)
  4. Select which presets to include in the rotation

Rotation Settings

  • Interval: How long each preset displays (5s – 60min)
  • Shuffle: Randomize the order of rotation
  • Pause on Idle: Stop rotation when PC is idle
  • Notifications: Show a toast when rotation switches presets

Managing Presets

You can view, edit, duplicate, and delete your saved presets from the Presets panel.

  • Load: Click a preset to instantly apply it
  • Edit: Right-click → Edit to modify the preset
  • Duplicate: Right-click → Duplicate to copy it
  • Delete: Right-click → Delete to remove it
  • Rename: Double-click the preset name

Pro Tips

Use Descriptive Names

Name presets by activity, not by order (e.g., "Gaming - Valorant" instead of "Preset 1").

Group Related Presets

Create presets for different contexts: gaming, working, creative, etc.

Export Your Presets

Regularly export your presets to a JSON file so you never lose your configurations.
